Ann Cory
I fell in love with Ann Cory’s work when I read my first story by her, Next Floor Naughty. I think this was the first e book I ever purchased. I was new in the world of e books and won a few, but the excerpt on this made me want to buy it. Shortly after reading Next Floor Naughty I became a reviewer with Joyfully Reviewed and was blessed with reviewing some of Ann’s books. One that comes to mind is Bawdy Talk, I loved this one so much I gave it a Recommended Read.
I will say this, I have enjoyed everything I have read by Ann Cory. I recently read The Howl and the Pussy Cat and LOVED it. This book just recently went on sale at Samhain Publishing and it is why I wanted to blog about Ann Cory today. It is a wonderful story and you should head over to Samhain and give it a look.
Thank you for all the great books you write Ann.

Poem
Kissa had a small contest on her yahoo loop http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kissaskarmakorner/?yguid=80421025 on writing a poem. I didnt’ enter, but wanted to challenge myself and actually wrote a poem so here it is.
It was supposed to be using all the letters of the alphabet.
Love Lost by Jambrea
A soft caress in the moonlight |
Before the night comes to an end |
Calm before the storm |
Dread slowly rolls in |
Emotions explode |
Feelings implode |
Going for one more touch |
Hoping its enough |
It never is |
Just as the night is about to end |
Kneeling before your love |
Longing for more |
Making the mistake |
Not knowing what is wrong |
Or the next step you must take |
Preparing for the worst |
Questioning your worth |
Resenting the Sun |
Suddenly she is gone |
Taking the night with her |
Unlikely to return |
Vacant is your gaze |
Welcoming the death of the night |
Xenodochy gone |
Yielding to the last dawn |
Zen like state altered with no tomorrow in site |

POV Switcher to the Rescue!
To get my mind off of…other things, I decided to blog today. I wanted to talk about POV or Point of View.
When I first started writing I really had no idea about POV. I finished my first story and had a few people look over at what I had written and POV was pointed out to me and I found out that I am what you call a “Head Hopper”. I switch from person to person in a split second. It should be a super hero power or something. If it was I would be called POV Switcher, able to switch in a single bound. It took a while, but I went through my whole story to fix any switching I may have done and now that I am aware I don’t do it as much. Thank you Jess Dee.
