Vivian Arend is hosting a Cowboy Countdown Contest and she’s popped in today to ask us to join her in getting ready for her latest release, Rocky Mountain Heat coming August 31st to Liquid Silver Books. And she’s got a question for us:
Have you ever ridden a horse?
Yes…but I’ve never ridden a cowboy. heehee
Welcome to the Six Pack Ranch, where one sweet young thing plus the Coleman boys equals trouble with a capital T.
Six Pack Ranch, Book 1
Blake Coleman is old enough to know that acting on impulse causes nothing but a heap of trouble.
But when trouble’s a blonde wearing a cowboy hat with slim legs that go on forever, what’s a man to do? Wanting the sweet girl next door is just wrong. Hell, he was the one that taught her to ride a horse and now all he can think about is riding her. The responsible thing to do is keep his hands off.
Jaxi has other plans for his hands, and his heart. She may have considered Blake a big brother once but that was a long time ago. She’s all grown up now and ready to convince him that she’s just what he’s been waiting for.
Add the complication of two sexy younger brothers who have suddenly noticed Jaxi and things heat up fast. Blake’s gonna have to decide if a little trouble is worth fighting for.

Answer the question in the comments to be entered to win the prize in the Cowboy Countdown. For more info you can also visit Where Dreams Become Reality.

I’m all for conservation so I’ll skip the horse riding and go straight to the cowboy. *grin*

Yup, yup, yup, he’s a keeper! Rhonda – you gonna add him to the calendar, or should I? LOL

I have not ridden a horse since I was 4! A dog came out of no where, spooked the horse, I flew off and broke my arm. After that, no more horses for me.
That cowboy might be able to get me back up on a horse though!
Thanks

I rode my first horse at the age of 5. The horse was a birthday present from my uncle and I named him Midnight Sun. Although I like riding horses, riding cowboys is fun too.

Since I live in the country, we have horses, I do not ride horses much any more. I leave that to the grandchildren!!!
Fantastic Cowboy!!

Um…I have been ON a horse…but I wouldn’t say I have ridden one. That is definitely something I would like to change.

I haven’t actually ridden a horse but I sat on one and then screamed to be taken off of it! I was 5 or 6 I think and we were at a friends farm and they all thought it would be fun to ride. I do remember the horse being the biggest thing I’d ever seen and I was so afraid of it!!

I’ve never ridden a horse, but the cowboy shown could convince me to try at least the horse once. LOL

yes, I’ve ridden a horse by myself and with a partner. It sure seemed high up the last time I sat on a horse and my niece was in front in control of the reins.

Lol at Kathy B
Do you need special ‘Spurs’ for an Airman?
Comment by Vivian Arend — August 24, 2009 @ 7:54 pm |
Yes, I’ve ridden a horse, I was raised on a farm. But I’d much rather be riding a cowboy.

Wow, that looks like it’s going to be as awesome as her last book. Yummy!
As for riding a horse, I did sit on one once. It didn’t go so well, LOL. I’d love to be more comfortable around them but maybe I’ll just leave the riding to the cowboys. I’ll watch from the safety of the fence. lol

It’s been years since I’ve ridden a horse. Last time I rode was when I was a child. My husband use to rope cattle when he was very young (childhood days). Does that count as riding a cowboy?? Or maybe he can be called an ex-cowboy. LOL.

I’m a city girl born and raised, so for me I went have way around the world to visit family in Pakistan as a child and rode a horse once….. I also rode a camel..LOL

Yes to the horse, no to the cowboy, alas
Comment by Fedora — August 25, 2009 @ 6:09 am |
Oh my, with a cowboy like that, I’d ride him instead of the horse any day. I’ve only ridden a horse 1 time, around a ring and it was pretty boring.

Yes to both! WooHoo
I love cowboys!
